Head of Trading, Portfolio Manager - Conrad Carvalho
Conrad Carvalho has over 20 years of experience trading derivatives, specialising in oil markets and cryptocurrencies. He led a global derivatives trading business for Mitsui & Co., and managed an options portfolio for Vitol SA. From trading crypto since 2017, he then founded Oaktree & Lion, a proprietary trading firm which specialises in crypto derivatives, particularly on volatility strategies and statistical arbitrage, and building tools for trading, portfolio and risk management, and data analytics.
Conrad also has a background in art advisory, investing and curating, with experience managing a corporate art collection, organising art exhibitions and directing a global art project.
