Co-Founder, Chief Operating Officer Role
Job Description
Oaktree & Lion are looking for a Co-Founder / Chief Operating Officer to lead key areas of the business and be instrumental in its strategy execution and operations as we launch a hedge fund / prop trading business in the cryptocurrency derivatives space. Our ambitions are to expand our trading strategies, setup a hedge fund and spin out a software startup. We are also looking for investment and partnerships too.
The role will involve building the business strategy, fundraising, marketing, procurement, project management, operations, HR, overseeing risk management and compliance, etc. The role offers the chance to build on what you have achieved so far in your career, are entrepreneurial or suit those with an MBA specialising in relevant subjects.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for entrepreneurial candidates, with excellent attention to detail and project management skills, that has a network of potential investors and/or will invest themselves. We want candidates that are great at spotting opportunities and can research them well before pursuing, as well as skills in presenting and negotiating. Requirements:
Experience in similar roles or tasks, or MBA or similar degree
Based in London but open to remote working
Experience with fundraising and has a network of potential investors
Great skills in presenting and closing deals
Attention to detail, project management and organisation skills are required
Responsibilities:
Upgrade the business strategy and structure, and leading its execution
Executing the launch of the hedge fund or prop trading business
Procurement of third-party services and software
Handling operational and managerial tasks including growing the team
Supervising risk monitoring and policy setting
